Abstract
This study aims on the occupational health and safety programmes effect on organizational performance, using Spirit AeroSystems Sdn Bhd as a case study. The study focused on investigating management performance that show commitment to health and safety programmes, health and safety management systems in the context of an organization, the significant contribution of occupational health and safety programmes to performance and identifying the obstacles affecting workplace health and safety programm. Semi-structured interviews and questionnaire were used to collect data. Based to the findings of the respondent analysis, the occupational health and safety programme had a positive impact on the company or organization. However, challenges exist that prohibit the company from reaching total achievement in occupational health and safety. Provide training and education, as well as employee engagement, and incentives, as suggested by researchers.
